In this role, you will collaborate with off-the-shelf component vendors to evaluate new technologies for integration into our products, qualify new hardware and firmware releases, and lead debugging efforts on complex technical issues. You will also provide hardware-focused support to internal teams, including Level 3 support, Manufacturing, R&D, QA, and IT.
Responsibilities:

* Demonstrate deep expertise in Storage hardware products, including servers, drives, enclosures, and power components.
* Evaluate and qualify new hardware components, actively participating in their integration into the product.
* Collaborate with global vendors and cross-functional internal teams to enhance product quality and resolve complex technical issues.
* Lead failure analysis investigations- both internally and with suppliers, and drive corrective and preventive actions
* Manage and lead new and existing hardware projects, continuously exploring technologies and methodologies
* Maintain and update the hardware knowledge base using industry-standard tools (e.g., Jira, Google Sheets, etc.).

This is a hands-on technical leadership role for an engineer with deep, real-world experience in the disciplines that make or break a mixed-signal design - grounding, EMI, robust communication, and accurate measurement - and, just as importantly, in how these are verified at the board and full- system level. * Leading the HW design of the digital and mixed-signal boards and products, from concept through mass production

* Defining how these are verified and characterized, both on the bench and within the complete system

HW Application Engineer - Job description: we are a leading supplier of microcontrollers and security hardware solutions for tier-1 customers in the computing and servers business. It is a self-contained design center, spanning from product management, system and chip architecture, through design, software development, system engineering and production. The group works closely with major customers, primarily key OEMs in the computing space, to develop semi-custom, innovative solutions for a wide range of application platforms. We are looking for a Hardware Application Engineer, to maintain and support our strong collaboration with our customers.
What You Will Be Doing
* Lead customers through all stages of designing their systems based on Nuvoton manageability and security microcontrollers (i.e., BMC, EC, SIO and TPM) from planning till production.
* Respond and resolve customer hardware related issues and requests, reported by the regional support team (FAEs) or directly by customers.
* Work closely with R&D, architects and PMs to provide issue resolutions, workarounds, and implement product features or support tools.
* Key contributor in complex debug tasks for issues found by customers; build debug strategies and hands-on work with the design team through the debug.
* Develop deep knowledge of customer applications and systems, recommend application solutions, design ideas and products to customer design teams.
* Develop and maintain technical documentation (e.g., reference schematics, application notes, design guidelines).
* Provide inputs and participate in next generation ICs definition based on customer inputs.
* Contribute to the definition of innovative and differentiated products.

This role is focused on hardware and system integration-not algorithms or optics. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with sensors, cameras, interfaces, suppliers, debugging, and bringing complex systems from concept to a reliable product.



Responsibilities

Select and evaluate hardware components for electro-optical systems.
Analyze datasheets, ICDs, application notes, and technical specifications.
Work directly with suppliers on technical evaluations, integration requirements, and component selection.

What Youll Do

Design, develop, and modify electronic boards throughout the entire product lifecycle.

Perform board bring-up activities following development and initial manufacturing.

Troubleshoot hardware issues, analyze failures, and implement design improvements.

Edit schematics and support PCB layout activities.

Improve product manufacturability and maintain production documentation.

Support PCB manufacturers and electronic assembly subcontractors while ensuring compliance with IPC standards.

Investigate manufacturing failures and provide engineering solutions.
