We are seeking a talented and motivated R&D Physicist with strong hands-on experience in optical laboratory work, photonics testing and physics-based data analysis. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and carrying out experiments for SiPh chip performance and characterization, performing and analyzing laboratory experiments of chip-level optical systems assembly, and developing test setups for photonics and laser device characterization. The ideal candidate combines strong experimental skills with the ability to analyze complex physical data, develop Python-based analysis tools, automate workflows and translate measurement results into clear technical insights for the R&D team. As a Silicon Engineering Manager you will be responsible for improving silicon-photonics yield and performance through data-driven analysis, cross-functional collaboration and proactive issue resolution.

You will serve as the key interface between R&D, Process and Production teams, ensuring efficient data flow, rapid issue identification and continuous process improvement across wafer fabrication, device testing, and packaging stages.

Responsibilities
Perform silicon process and chip-level data analysis, establishing correlation between chip and wafer performance.
Lead process debug and yield loss analysis at chip/wafer level, driving root cause investigations and corrective actions.
Manage engineering approval forum to release production material.

We are seeking a motivated and organized Project Manager to support the development and delivery of Silicon Photonics products.

The ideal candidate has a technical background in semiconductor manufacturing or silicon processes and is skilled at coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. This role requires strong planning, communication and execution skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive progress across engineering, operations, and manufacturing teams. The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented and capable of influencing stakeholders and moving projects forward without direct managerial authority.

Experience in photonics, optics, hardware, or mechanical engineering environments is an advantage. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced technology organization and have a proven ability to deliver results through effective coordination, follow-up, and teamwork.

You will work closely with device designers, process engineers and tape-out teams to deliver high-quality layouts of silicon photonics PICs. Strong candidates will have hands-on experience with industry-standard layout tools, especially Cadence Virtuoso or similar software. Understanding of photonic components, waveguide routing and automated layout generation is a major advantage. You will also contribute to layout methodologies, PCells, and design automation flows to accelerate PIC development.
