We are looking for an outstanding Senior Software Engineer to join our Video/Multimedia Architecture & Algorithms (A&A) team - the people who build tomorrows NVENC and NVDEC, the dedicated video encode and decode engines that power streaming, cloud gaming, video conferencing and broadcast on every modern NVIDIA GPU. You will be the software-craftsmanship anchor of a small Software team inside A&A. You will craft and implement the core components developed using C++ alongside Python. These components support our research and product paths. You will raise the engineering bar across the group. You will also guide research code through to the shipping NVENC/NVDEC SDK.
This is a hybrid role - 4 days per week from the office.
What You'll Be Doing
Work closely with our Architects and Algorithms Engineers to understand the needs and build, implement and/or optimize the most elegant solutions - in modern C++ and Python
Set the bar for what good software means inside A&A: reviewing code, mentoring engineers from non-software backgrounds, and bringing the rest of the group up with you
Implement detailed, focused tweaks into the SDK and the wider video stack. These changes let researchers test new ideas without forking the world. Walk research code through to a shipping NVENC/NVDEC release when needed.
Profile and optimize critical paths in the codec stack; reach for CUDA when CPU-side optimization is not enough
Build and sharpen the small libraries, frameworks and tools the team uses every day, and make sure they are a joy to work with.

We are searching for a highly motivated, excellent Software Engineer for design and verification to join the software tools group. You will design and develop tools that enable developers worldwide to harness the full power of our products. The successful candidate will show a strong background in C++ programming, strong documentation, and writing skills, take ownership of parts of the codebase, good communication and ability to integrate well as part of the team and organization, and motivated to solve sophisticated problems, developing tools for management, configuration and debug of all our networking products.
What you'll be doing:
As a valued member of the team, you will be involved in the technical design and implementation of numerous features working in an Agile environment. You will write code in C, C++ and Python, in OOP methodology.
Develop tools for management, configuration and debug of our networking products
Effectively estimate and prioritize tasks in order to create a realistic delivery schedule
Write fast, effective, maintainable, reliable and well documented code
Collaborate with multiple development teams on new features
Provide peer reviews to other engineers
Document designs, and review documents with stake holders
Demonstrate growth in technical and non-technical abilities
Prepare and develop test plans for new features.

We are looking for a Test Development Engineer to join our team. This role will work as part of a team driven by the development of our networking and interconnect products. Do you have a passion for automation development, test program development, code writing and looking for sophisticated and significant topics? We will be happy to have your skills on the team. You will handle various projects across teams, build test plans, automate test specification and execution. You will continuously innovate and develop scalable, reliable, high-performance systems and tools to enable the next generation of Interconnect products.
What Youll Be Doing:
Will work on projects across multiple functional teams from different geographies throughout the product lifecycle
Develop test plans, and execute testing via automation and manually for all supported hardware releases
Work with cross-functional teams across engineering, thermal, mechanical, and HW to identify test requirements
Develop automation and tools for our hardware releases and test environment
Debug HW & SW failures in interconnect products, Isolate the problem, and get to the root cause
Design and build technical processes to address business issues
Deploy the test solution to the production sites and provide support if needed.
Train personnel on the required processes and operations of complex test systems.
Ensure all testing is being conducted in compliance with all safety protocols.
