Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on Head of DevOps to lead and scale our global DevOps team. In this strategic role, you will transform our very complex setup and configuration process, which is currently text-based and manual, into a semi-automated and scalable.. You will be responsible for shaping our DevOps culture, driving automation, and managing the allocation of DevOps resources.. Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and grow a distributed team of DevOps engineers.
* Oversee environment versioning, configuration management, and infrastructure automation.
* revolutionize our text-based configuration into a generator-based process, supporting a quick span to multiple servers and flexibility to development expansions.
* Drive DevOps knowledge collection and team training - the DevOps team should be the Gold standard as to how to configure and deploy any component or module.
* Manage the team - recruit, train, allocate tasks, supervise delivery. (Note that you are not expected to be the technical leader).
* Drive adoption of DevOps best practices, including monitoring, incident response, and security hardening.

What your job will look like:
Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for key MECI platforms and capabilities
Drive cross-organizational alignment on platform priorities, architectural evolution, and adoption strategy
Translate needs from Algo developers, Validation teams, CI users, and Infrastructure stakeholders into clear product requirements, specifications, and user flows

Which department will you join?
The Infra development team is a part of Software Algorithm (SW Algo) Department at our company responsible for the software infrastructure and development algo utilities for autonomous driving algorithm code running on our company's platform. As part of the end-to-end autonomous vehicle flows, we get to see our code running in the most advanced algorithms and use cases, which are developed by our team and algorithm groups. The development environment is mostly based on C/C++ programming within computer vision domains.
As a Senior C++ Developer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining Algo utility and software infrastructure within the company's primary algorithmic flow.
** This role may offer the flexibility to work one day per week from our other sites, subject to seat availability.
