As a Senior Platform Engineer, youll join our R&D center in TLV. Youll be part of a team of developers and devops engineers, directly contributing to our product by using cutting-edge technologies. The Platform Group is a cross-functional group dedicated to building and maintaining the robust foundation on which we operate. This team is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD systems, and tools that empower our development and production environments.
With a focus on enhancing developer experience, operational efficiency, and reliability, the team drives initiatives that:
Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.
Develop and maintain Kubernetes clusters and related tools, ensuring high availability and performance.
Manage edge gateways, WAF solutions, and other critical infrastructure components.
Define and enforce CI/CD standards to streamline development and delivery workflows
Build tools and automation to enhance productivity across engineering teams.
Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of production infrastructure.
What Youll Do:
Define infrastructure standards for dev teams
Design, implement and develop tools for controlling infrastructure of micro services
Build CI/CD automation and templates with GitLab
Build, maintain and operate AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure
Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the applications and architecture
Work in contact with other teams across the company to ensure smooth and documented changes to all environments
Identify and resolve problems in mission-critical services, automating remediation procedures to prevent recurrences
Bring ideas to the table, take ownership over their project timelines and deliverables and help us scale.

Requirements:
BSc. Computer Science or similar.
5+ years of professional experience in backend or full-stack development in a product development team. Object oriented programming programming experience is required.
3+ years experience as Devops/SRE in a production environment
2+ years experience with containers, Kubernetes, Helm, Argo CD
2+ years experience with AWS or GCP/Azure
1+ years experience with CICD - GitLab/Jenkins/Github actions/etc.
Experience with networking, distributed systems, SQL and NoSQL databases
Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems internals and administration
Fluent in English language
Advantage - Experienced with declarative IaC tools like Terraform, Cloudformation or Pulumi

Responsibilities
Design and develop the next generation of our leading SaaS platform, built on a Node.js microservices architecture and deployed in the AWS cloud.
Build enterprise-grade, high-performance, and scalable backend services following modern best practices and coding standards.
Continuously research, evaluate, and implement new technologies and tools to maximize development efficiency, maintainability, and quality.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Frontend Developers, and Designers to deliver robust APIs and seamless integrations that power innovative user experiences.
Leverage AI-driven development tools (such as Claude, Cursor, or LLM-based automation) to accelerate coding workflows, optimize performance, and maintain a competitive edge in the evolving tech landscape.

Requirements:
5+ years of backend development experience, with strong expertise in Node.js.
3+ years of experience with AWS cloud services.
Proven experience with microservices architecture and large-scale distributed systems.
Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and query optimization.
Solid understanding of software engineering principles and Agile development methodologies.
Experience with Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
Practical experience with serverless technologies (AWS Lambda) and messaging/streaming tools like RabbitMQ, SQS, Redis, and Kinesis.
Familiarity with caching layers (ElasticCache, Redis), search engines (Elasticsearch), and API Gateways (API GW, NLB).
Strong proficiency with TypeScript for scalable backend development.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
