This is a senior individual-contributor role combining strong RAN knowledge, hands-on investigation, structured problem-solving, and end-to-end technical ownership.
What you will do:
Own selected RAN POCs and technical evaluations from initial definition through a clear, evidence-based conclusion.
Define the scope, evaluation approach, success criteria, required evidence, and execution plan.
Analyze logs, traces, configurations, software builds, test results, ticket history, and relevant lab or field data.
Run evaluations using lab environments, simulations, automation frameworks, dashboards, and other engineering tools.
Develop practical Python or shell scripts for data preparation, validation, and repeatable analysis.
Reproduce key findings, identify missing evidence, and clearly communicate assumptions, limitations, and recommendations.
Work with Development, QA, System Integration, Lab, Release, Field, and Radio teams to close technical and data gaps.
Convert recurring manual activities into reusable scripts, templates, checklists, and working practices.

Responsibilities
Lead the system engineering and technical management of the NOCTA product line throughout the full product lifecycle.
Define system architecture, interfaces, operational concepts, and technical requirements.
Translate customer and operational needs into structured technical solutions and engineering priorities.
Act as the primary technical focal point across software, algorithms, hardware, electronics, mechanics, integration, and validation teams.
Lead technical decision-making and trade-off analysis across performance, cost, schedule, and operational requirements.
Ensure system readiness through structured engineering processes including requirement management, risk management, verification, and validation.
Support integration into airborne and tactical platforms, including testing, troubleshooting, and field activities.
Work closely with R&D, QA, Operations, Program Management, and customers to ensure successful product execution.
Support customer demonstrations, evaluations, and technical discussions while monitoring industry trends and emerging technologies.
