The Field Application Engineer provides technical assurance and customer-facing support throughout the sales cycle and post-implementation phase. This role ensures customers select, integrate, and successfully deploy the companys products.
The FAE is a trusted technical advisor to customers and a key partner to sales.
* Provide pre-sales Technical Support by analyzing customer technical requirements & specifications, recommend suitable products and configurations, provide technical input during quotation and solution definition, support customer meetings with technical presentations and system discussions and participate in design reviews and application validation.
* Provide post-sales support to secure recurring business and repeat buys by answering customers technical questions regarding product performance, integration, or limitations, support setup & implementation when required, assist customers with testing, calibration and validation and troubleshoot technical issues either on site or remotely.
* Take part in shaping the companys product roadmap by feeding product application engineering and R&D with feedback, escalate complex issues when needed, communicate unmet customers' needs and potential product enhancements and added value.
* Develop and maintain application knowledge by documenting customer applications, integration methods, and lessons learned in an internal knowledge base. Develop reference application examples that can support future sales opportunities.

Requirements: * A degree level technical and engineering qualification is preferred. Technically inclined, IT and MS office skills are critical.
* Field applications experience with electro/mechanical components manufacturer required.
* English should be both spoken and written fluently.
* Force sensing experience preferred.
* Strain gage bonding / soldering is a significant advantage.
