We are looking for an experienced Director of Engineering to lead a large, highly technical engineering organization (50+ engineers) responsible for end-to-end development of our companys platform.
This role combines people leadership, technical vision, and product partnership. You will own the full lifecycle of multiple enterprise-grade services.
You will be a key partner to Product Management, driving technology strategy, shaping product vision, and building scalable, resilient, and best-in-class security architecture at cloud scale.
Responsibilities: 
Lead and scale a 50+ engineer organization, including group managers and senior technical leaders, responsible for planning, building, and operating our companys platform
Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering managers and senior engineers, building a high-performance, inclusive, and growth-oriented culture
Own the technical vision and architecture of end-to-end security services, including:
High-throughput, low-latency runtime traffic processing
Cloud-native microservices and APIs
Web-based configuration, policy management, analytics dashboards, and alerting systems
Drive enterprise-grade architecture for large-scale, multi-tenant SaaS systems with strict requirements for availability, performance, and security
Act as a thought leader for new technologies, security capabilities, and architectural evolution within the organization
Partner closely with Product Management to define roadmaps, influence product strategy, and translate business needs into technical execution
Collaborate across engineering, operations, automation, and support teams to deliver integrated, reliable solutions at scale
Establish and own a strong quality culture, including engineering best practices, testing strategy, production readiness, and continuous improvement to ensure enterprise-grade reliability, security, and customer trust
Own delivery and operational excellence: quality, scalability, observability, and continuous improvement in production

As a Senior/ Principal/ Senior Principal Software Engineer at Cortex Cloud, you will serve as a primary technical architect and visionary for our core communication infrastructure. This role is focused on the critical server-side backbone that facilitates high-scale bidirectional communication between our cloud services and client-side applications.
You will be responsible for the architectural integrity of systems that receive massive data inflows from the field and reliably broadcast intelligence back to millions of endpoints.
