The Senior Product Manager leads the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management of the companys Signal Management product domain, including switching, scaling, signal distribution, and processing solutions.
The role manages a portfolio with a large installed base of established products, develop its path forward while guiding the transition toward next-generation architectures such as AV-over-IP and network-based AV systems.
Working closely with R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Support, the Senior Product Manager ensures the portfolio remains competitive, profitable, and aligned with evolving Audio-Visual market needs.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
Define the product vision and multi-year roadmap for the Signal Management domain.
Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics shaping the portfolio.
Guide the transition from traditional AV signal infrastructure to modern network-based architectures.
Portfolio Management
Own the full lifecycle of signal management products, from introduction through end-of-life.
Manage a portfolio that includes legacy platforms and next-generation solutions.
Drive portfolio rationalization and migration paths to simplify offerings, create differentiation, and support long-term growth.
Go-to-Market
Define product positioning, value proposition, and target applications.
Support product launches and major roadmap introductions.
Develop sales enablement materials, messaging, and competitive positioning.
Field & Customer Engagement
Enable global sales teams and channel partners through training and solution guidance.
Engage with key customers and system integrators to validate requirements and roadmap direction.
Support strategic opportunities and complex system deployments.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Translate market needs into clear product requirements for engineering teams.
Work with support and technical teams to address complex field issues and improve product quality.
Act as the business owner for the Signal Management domain internally.
Requirements: 7-10+ years of experience in product management, system solutions, or related roles
Strong understanding of AV signal flow, switching, distribution architectures, and system integration
Familiarity with technologies such as HDMI, HDBaseT, AV-over-IP, signal extension, and video processing is an advantage.
Experience working with sales teams, integrators, and channel partners in technology markets
Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or related technical field preferred (or equivalent experience)
Advanced degree (MBA or similar) is a plus but not required
Equivalent industry experience in professional AV, video distribution, or system integration may substitute for formal education
Industry certifications (e.g., AVIXA CTS / CTS-D) are considered an advantage
