we are looking for a Senior C++ Software Engineer.
As part of our R&D Engineering team, you will work closely with our Quality and Manufacturing teams to develop the latest tools and technologies to address significant, unmet clinical needs that impact patients lives around the world.
How you will make impact:
Prototype, plan, build, and deliver software applications in C++ and similar development languages
Participate in other software designs such as software for UI, signal processing, DevOps, product security, Operating system
Understanding top and low-level design of embedded systems.
Work closely with other development engineers to ensure the system is designed and delivered with appropriate requirements.
Independently cooperate with internal or external suppliers.
Drive the development and deployment of custom test systems SW / automation SW, and test methods concurrently with new product development.
Develop SW verification strategy, testing methods and V&V plans based on product requirements and SW design including writing tests that challenge the system and its requirements and advocate for test approaches that have highest impact.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Your Impact

Design and develop visualization capabilities within our SDK environment
Lead the development of a brand-new comprehensive self-monitoring system for network devices from the ground up
Implement a comprehensive model for capturing and managing network state information
Drive cross-team collaboration and technical strategy
Work closely with senior technical leadership
Create and refine technical requirements and system designs
Build new systems and frameworks from the ground up

In this role, you will be part of the Silicon One Switch ASIC Post-Silicon Electrical Validation (EPSV) team.
* Ensure the ASIC operates according to specifications and reliably over time by performing extensive, high-precision measurements using advanced test equipment and procedures.
* Conduct deep-dive investigations, integrating knowledge across hardware, software, and system domains to identify root causes of observed device behavior.

* Handle all chip validation aspects, including:
* Building validation plans.
* Deloping ASIC software test infrastructure.
* Writing tests in Python/C++ over device SDK.
* Executing tests and analyzing results.

As Principal Design Assurance Engineer/Principal
Design Quality Engineer you will make impact by:
Lead Risk Management activities (including authoring risk management documents).
Collaborate with R&D teams to identify and generate product requirements and ensure regulatory compliace.
Responsible for adhering to company SDLC procedures and approving development documentation.
Collaborate with stakeholders on the Code Review process for software product.
Review and approve SW V&V and system DV and Dval plans and reports.
Responsible for TMV for both development and process test methods.
Ensure early focus on manufacturability in NPI programs.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Collaborate closely with the ASIC Architecture team to implement an accurate and efficient software model based on the architecture specifications.

Partner with both Software and Hardware design teams, providing support as they use the simulator as the golden reference for hardware implementation.

Ensure the simulator meets the highest standards of performance, reliability, and usability.

Contribute to defining best practices and methodologies for model development, validation, and integration.
