Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on Head of DevOps to lead and scale our global DevOps team.
In this strategic role, you will transform our very complex setup and configuration process, which is currently text-based and manual, into a semi-automated and scalable.. You will be responsible for shaping our DevOps culture, driving automation, and managing the allocation of DevOps resources.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, mentor, and grow a distributed team of DevOps engineers.
* Oversee environment versioning, configuration management, and infrastructure automation.
* revolutionize our text-based configuration into a generator-based process, supporting a quick span to multiple servers and flexibility to development expansions.
* Drive DevOps knowledge collection and team training - the DevOps team should be the Gold standard as to how to configure and deploy any component or module.
* Manage the team - recruit, train, allocate tasks, supervise delivery. (Note that you are not expected to be the technical leader).
