We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Team Lead to join our growing R&D team.

In this role, you will play a key part in designing, building, and maintaining high-scale, production-ready systems for one of CHEQs innovative products. This is a hands-on technical and management role where you will drive significant features from concept to deployment, working across the entire stack-from the database and backend services to the modern React frontend. You will also mentor mid-level and junior engineers and contribute to core architectural decisions.

What Youll Do

Lead the technical design and team and implementation of new features across the full stack (backend services and frontend web applications. (Mostly nodejs and react).
Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to define product specifications and translate them into high-quality technical solutions.
Review code, mentor team members, and promote best practices in testing, performance, and security.
Participate in the on-call rotation and support production issue investigations and validations.

Youll lead a talented team of 2-3 full-stack developers while actively contributing code, shaping architecture, and setting the technical and cultural tone for the team.
You Will:
Lead and mentor two-three full stack engineers, setting the technical direction and helping them grow through a mix of guidance, reviews, and knowledge sharing.
Stay hands-on: write code, design features, review PRs, and get into the details when it counts.
Collaborate closely with Product to define priorities, plan features and deliver meaningful improvements with tight feedback loops.
Continuously refine how the team works, removing friction, improving processes, and creating a modern, effective engineering environment.

Were looking for a Tech Lead to join our team in our Tel Aviv office (Hybrid) with deep technical expertise who is excited to lead architecture, delivery, and culture across our Tel Aviv-based R&D team. This is a hands-on tech lead role focused on owning business-critical products and driving cross-functional execution across design, product, DevOps, and engineering. Youll lead by example - mentoring others, delivering scalable systems, and owning reliability, performance, and velocity across your domain. Hybrid work is available.
Responsibilities:
This role involves approximately 70% backend development and 30% frontend, with a strong emphasis on building scalable backend systems.
Drive cross-functional technical initiatives and own end-to-end delivery of critical product features using a JavaScript-centric stack (Node.js, React, Next.js, TypeScript).
Guide the team through design reviews, technical tradeoffs, refactoring, software quality improvements, and long-term architectural planning.
Set technical direction for the team while aligning with company-wide product and architecture goals.
Multiply the impact of the team: mentor engineers, promote best practices, and raise the technical bar across the board.
Collaborate closely with Product, UX, QA, and other engineers to turn business goals into scalable systems.
Lead and mature CI/CD processes, DevOps collaboration, deployment automation, and cloud-native infrastructure practices.
Take ownership of production health: drive the culture and systems for monitoring, observability, and fast recovery from incidents.
Lead post-incident reviews, improve telemetry, and drive systemic fixes that improve reliability and developer feedback loops.
