Algorithm engineer - Advanced Sensing Technologies Join a leading defense R&D organization at the forefront of next-generation sensing systems. We are looking for an Algorithm engineer who thrives on solving complex physical problems and translating them into high-performance computational solutions deployed in real-world environments. The Role You will take part in the full algorithmic lifecycle - from fundamental research and modeling of physical phenomena to implementation, optimization, and validation within operational systems. This is a hands-on role combining deep signal processing expertise, advanced Machine Learning, and experimental validation in both lab and field settings. What Youll Do Design and develop state-of-the-art signal processing and learning algorithms Transform raw sensor data into robust, production-grade computational models Lead and analyze lab and field experiments to validate algorithmic performance Conduct advanced signal and image processing research Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams ( data science, hardware, system engineering) to integrate algorithms into complex sensing platforms What Were Looking For B.Sc. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Geophysics (M.Sc./Ph.D. - advantage) 3+ years of hands-on experience in Signal Processing, with strong foundations in sampling theory Proven experience in audio or sensor signal analysis (STFT, spectrograms, filtering) Ability to extract meaningful features from raw signals and integrate them into ML pipelines Practical experience training and evaluating Deep Learning models (CNNs, Transformers) Strong Python skills and experience with scientific/ML ecosystems (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, PyTorch) Experience with large-scale data processing - advantage Familiarity with self-supervised learning - advantage This role offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical technologies, tackle real-world physics challenges, and contribute to systems that operate at the cutting edge of sensing innovation.
