Role Purpose: Lead the development, characterization, and validation of medical transducers, from concept through integration into a clinical product, with strong hands-on laboratory work and technological leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Professional leadership of the transducer development laboratory (hands-on role).
Design, build, and TEST transducers and physical/acoustic systems.
Conduct experiments, measurements, data analysis, and performance optimization.
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams: R D, algorithms, electronics, mechanics, and regulatory.
Author development documentation, experimental reports, and technical files in compliance with regulatory requirements (ISO, MDR, FDA).
Support transfer to manufacturing (NPI) and troubleshooting.
Stay up to date with scientific literature and technological innovation in the field.
Requirements: Requirements:
MSc or PhD in Applied Physics / Physical Engineering / a relevant field.
Proven experience in developing physical systems or transducers; strong advantage for ultrasound or medical device experience.
Hands-on laboratory experience - mandatory.
Strong experimental, measurement, and data analysis skills.
Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment.
High-level English proficiency (written and spoken).
