Required Senior Product Design- Design System
About The Position
Product Design is at the core of making our users succeed by providing them with the ultimate experience. Our Design System is the foundation that powers those experiences.
As a Senior Product Designer for our Design System, you will own and evolve our company-wide system. This is both a strategic and hands-on role: you will define the visual and interaction foundations of our products, build scalable components and patterns, partner closely with engineering, and enable product teams to move faster while maintaining quality and consistency.
You will collaborate with product designers, product managers, engineering, content design, and product marketing to build, maintain, and continually improve a Design System that supports multiple products, use cases, and evolving business needs. You will also explore new ways of working, including AI-powered workflows and automation, to help us design and ship smarter, faster, and more efficiently across the organization.
Responsibilities
Own and evolve our Design System foundations, tokens, components, patterns, and documentation across products and platforms
Partner closely with engineering to ensure pixel-to-code accuracy, technical feasibility, and high-quality implementation in production
Enable product teams with flexible, scalable libraries that accelerate delivery without sacrificing quality
Define and maintain contribution, governance, and release processes that keep the system scalable, reliable, and easy to adopt
Identify repeated product challenges and transform them into reusable, well-designed system solutions
Champion usability, accessibility, performance, and quality as core principles of the Design System
Explore, research, and introduce AI-powered tools and automation to improve how the system is designed, documented, and maintained
Act as the primary advocate of the Design System, guiding teams, supporting adoption, and communicating changes clearly across the organization.
Requirements: 5+ years of product design experience at a product-focused tech company
3+ years building or maintaining design systems at scale, not just using them - with real ownership of components, patterns, and decision-making
Deep expertise in Figma system architecture - components, variants, tokens, properties, states, and scalable library management
Proven collaboration experience with engineering, including defining specs, handling edge cases, and ensuring accurate implementation
Strong systems thinking with the ability to balance scalability, flexibility, and consistency across multiple teams and products
Excellent visual craft, attention to detail, and passion for building high-quality, reusable design solutions
Curiosity and openness to exploring new workflows, including AI-driven design, documentation, and automation
A highly independent team player who thrives in dynamic environments and takes ownership end-to-end
A high level of spoken and written English.
