Job Description
As a Backend Engineer in the Nile group, youll build internal products and tools, used by thousands of our backend engineers. Our solutions and backend platforms, powers how we operate and evolves its production environment. Youll design and implement applicative infra tools that streamline the process of writing backend services, helping engineers deliver with confidence and speed.
In your day-to-day, you will:
Build scalable backend platforms that allow other backend engineers to easily create their backend services while focusing on their business logic
From idea to production, youll have full ownership; understand use cases and gather product requirements, design, code, alpha support, and ongoing maintenance
Collaborate closely with product managers and other backend engineers (our users) to bring ideas to life quickly and with quality. We focus on adoption and are committed to supporting our users
Improve our CDC (Change Data Capture) solutions, allowing for hundreds of our backend engineers to easily and rapidly migrate their data

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join Mami’s founding team and play a key role in building the company’s core technology from the ground up.
In this role, you’ll take end-to-end ownership of our backend systems - from architecture and technical design, through hands-on development, to production and scale. You’ll lead the creation of reliable, scalable foundations that bring Mami’s product vision to life.

Responsible for complete software development life cycle including requirement analysis, design, development, deployment and support
