Required Senior Product Designer- Editor
About The Position
Product Design is at the core of making our users succeed by providing them with the ultimate experience. We are the leading website platform for WordPress and its award-winning editor gives web creators the freedom to turn their ideas into reality.
As a Senior Product Designer for our Editor, you will join the Editor product group, helping them to drive their vision and build new and exciting experiences.
You will work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, content designers, product marketing, marketing and support operations, to deliver exceptional product flows, features, visual concepts and more.
Responsibilities
Craft visiontypes - conceptual design explorations that set the direction for the Editors future and inspire innovation.
Map possible scenarios and design end-to-end user journeys, ensuring coherence across touch points and optimizing for both new and advanced users.
Integrate AI-powered capabilities into design workflows to simplify complexity and enhance creativity for users.
Collaborate with our product, engineering, and marketing teams to define, design, and deliver a best-in-class user experience that will achieve our business objectives.
Develop a deep understanding of our users by conducting research, data analysis, customer interviews, and usability testing.
Take ownership of the full design cycle, from collecting inspiration through conducting user research to creating pixel-perfect UI for all states and scenarios from development to delivery
Ensure consistency by learning and applying our design system
Promote winning ideas and decisions as a valuable member of our design team.
Requirements: 5+ years of design experience at a product-focused tech company.
Skilled at delivering end-to-end product workflows that cover multiple user scenarios and edge cases.
Experience crafting vision concepts that communicate future directions and inspire cross-functional alignment.
Innovative problem solver with a passion for transforming complex problems into simple and intuitive user experiences.
Familiarity with AI-powered design tools or workflows, and the ability to integrate emerging technologies into product experiences.
Strong understanding of typography, color, and composition with a keen sense of pixel-perfect design solutions.
A highly independent team player who doesn't require hand-holding.
Able to thrive in a dynamic environment that requires quick decision-making within a tight schedule.
A high level of spoken and written English.
Nice to have:
Experience working on a web editor or other design tools
Familiarity with Elementor and WordPress
Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication or Interactive Design.
