Were hiring a Lead UX Writer to shape how the product explains itself, guides action, and drives adoption and mastery.
Youll work across ~10 product squads and domains, define content standards, lead and mentor our writing practice, and stay hands-on-turning deep technical capabilities into intuitive, confident, and occasionally delightful experiences.
Responsibilities:
Define a voice that fits IT pros and the employees they support: expert, clear, human. Build guidelines, examples, and patterns teams and AI tools use across the platform and Autopilot.
Turn complex technical workflows into simple, engaging journeys. Write key flows (navigation, onboarding, dialogs, AI prompts, errors, success, settings) that drive understanding, activation, and exploration. Manage AI-assisted localization so multi-language UX stays accurate, aligned, and on-voice.
Create a scalable content system: reusable patterns, naming rules, messaging frameworks, and AI-ready guidelines. Make it easy for every squad to ship on-voice, on-standard copy-even when youre not in the room.
Drive content strategy for key product domains, prioritizing high-impact flows across our ecosystem. Partner with product managers, designers, engineers, support and CS teams to co-design flows, define standards, and review critical journeys. Lead by doing-write, audit, coach-and use AI to help teams draft while you own quality and guardrails.
Set direction and workflows for a junior and/or technical writer. Align UX copy, technical docs, and in-product help so our story is consistent from UI to guides to support.
Run lean research and experiments with PMs, designers, or independently. Test copy, read the data, talk to users, and iterate to reduce friction and increase successful use of advanced features.
Design how our companys AI and Autopilot speak: prompts, summaries, explanations, guided actions. Make AI interactions precise, trustworthy, and impactful-lifting automation usage, confidence, and product stickiness.
Requirements: 5+ years in UX writing/content design for complex products (SaaS/B2B/technical domains strongly preferred).
Portfolio showing youve simplified complexity and moved product metrics (adoption, activation, fewer tickets, etc.).
Experience creating/owning content guidelines, naming systems, and content components at scale.
Comfortable in Figma: creating, editing, and collaborating on design files within the Figma environment.
Used to working closely with PMs, designers, and engineers in agile teams.
Ability to lead and mentor another writer (technical and/or UX), with clear workflows and reviews.
Strong technical aptitude: you can grasp and remember complex flows, states, plan types, permissions, automations, and multiple personas jobs-to-be-done, and express them simply and accurately.
Confident running scrappy research and experiments; you use insight, not gut alone, to back content decisions.
High ownership: can prioritize across many teams, push back when needed, and still ship sharp, reliable work.
This position is open to all candidates.
