What will you do:

* As a core member of the Windows development group, you will take part in designing and implementing drivers, services, and low-level components of Cynet’s EDR agent.

As a Software Engineer, you will join our Agents team to architect, develop, and take ownership of our cross-platform endpoint security agent (sensor), a core component of our Asset Risk Management (ARM) solution. In this role, you will design and implement high-performance, low-footprint agents for Windows, macOS, and Linux, ensuring reliable and scalable data collection even in the most demanding enterprise environments. You will collaborate closely with R&D engineers, product managers, and the support team to deliver secure, sophisticated, and highly requested customer features.

What Youll Own and Deliver
Own the full feature lifecycle (from requirements to production monitoring) for our endpoint sensors and core APIs across supported operating systems.
Develop critical new features and resolve complex issues for our enterprise clients, directly contributing to the evolution of our established product.
Collaborate within an agile, small team on both the agent (C#, .Net) and the backend using a microservices architecture with short development and deployment cycles.
Design, optimize, and troubleshoot low-level components that run on multiple operating systems (Windows, Ubuntu, macOS) and containerized environments.
Provide robust production support; troubleshoot and debug issues in both on-premise and cloud deployments, working closely with customer support.
Work with other development teams to define robust APIs and Schema, ensuring data reliability, availability, and correctness across the entire system.

We are looking for an engineering manager to lead a cross-platform team in the Cortex XDR agent group. The manager will lead a group of several engineers personally and technically, making critical decisions and prioritizing the teams work.
The Cross Platform teams take part in the development of Cortex XDR Agent, a disruptive anti-exploit & anti-malware product. The XDR agent is the foundation of most of the Cortex products, providing the boots-on-the-ground for our companys endpoint protection solutions. The team focuses on the endpoint, working on delivering a cross platform agent for Windows, MacOS & Linux, and builds revolutionary new capabilities to improve security and performance over millions of endpoints.

The team is responsible for developing automation infrastructure and various cloud based tools and platforms that are used across the research, development and QA departments to ensure the functionality, stability and quality of the XDR product, alongside the efficiency of the infrastructure and process used to build, test and deploy on various clouds and distributions. We believe that the platforms & infrastructure that the team provides are a critical & crucial part of our department's progress to the modern future and one of our key growth factors.
As a Platform engineer you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our development and automation experience by pushing forward modern automation approaches, eliminating manual efforts and introducing new development operations for continuous integration, scale & durability using advanced cloud services. Your expertise will be used in areas such as infrastructure development, cloud based automation, serverless infrastructure, automation as a service, providing technical guidance, and pushing infrastructure\configuration as a code and GitOps approach across the development departments.
