Were looking for a highly skilled Python Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, youll design, develop, and maintain backend systems that support our companys production and internal applications. Youll work across teams to deliver scalable, high-availability solutions, ensuring smooth operation of production environments and future web-based applications.
What will your job look like?
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems using Python.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build end-to-end solutions, occasionally including frontend integration using modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
Design and manage databases (SQL and NoSQL), focusing on performance, reliability, and data integrity.
Support and enhance production line applications, ensuring high availability, resilience, and fault tolerance.
Build, containerize, and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes on Linux environments.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI for automated testing and deployment.
Work with AWS services to deploy, monitor, and scale applications in the cloud.
Optimize performance-critical components using C++ and/or Cython where needed.
Participate in architecture design, code reviews, and mentoring of junior developers.

You will be part of our company's REM department that is responsible for the automatic High-Definition map-making process, which is a key technology in our company's autonomous driving and high-end Driving Assistance systems.This process involves running advanced algorithmic code in a massively parallel way, utilizing Big Data technologies, and as such is a complex system that requires a deep understanding of our map creation process as well as advanced technical abilities.Our team focuses on next phase developments within the map creation system, which involves alogritmic developments, cross teams (algo and engineering) developments.
What will your job look like?
You will have full responsibility over a development and design of logics and components that are essential for the company map.
Intensive teamwork along the development path - internally with the algorithmic team and externally with other teams.
Development of a high-performance computing system.
Will take part on making the world's roads a safer place.
