CTO Group is looking for a New Technology Manager with strong expertise in experimental optics, broad technological knowledge, and proven leadership in driving innovation from concept to implementation.

In this role, you will lead a multidisciplinary team, oversee multiple research and development projects, and collaborate with internal and external partners to integrate emerging technologies into Novas innovation pipeline.

Responsibilities
What you will be doing:

Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers to deliver high-impact technology projects.
Plan, prioritize, and oversee multiple R&D initiatives, managing the process from concept through feasibility and early development stages.
Identify emerging industry needs and scout, evaluate, and recommend disruptive technologies to address them.
Guide experimental design and execution in optical systems, ensuring robust testing, validation, and documentation practices.
Foster collaboration across internal teams and with external partners, including academia, industry, and suppliers.
Influence Novas long-term strategic direction by integrating novel technologies into the corporate roadmap.
Ensure effective project management, including budgeting, resource allocation, and milestone tracking to meet organizational objectives.

Responsibilities
What you will be doing:

Theoretical and experimental study of new system methods and algorithms to support state-of-the-art solutions
Define and oversee the implementation of your solutions
Hands on tool experiments and testing in clean-room environment
Service and production guidance and support on challenging topics
Collaboration and system lead with HW and SW engineers
Data and statistical analysis
Advanced logic and sequence design
Algorithm development
Performance and critical behavior testing and design
Developing practical solutions and methods for critical challenges
Conduct lab and on-site system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and problem-solving. Tasks include root-cause analysis, mitigation plans, implementing robust system calibration methods, and product transfer to manufacturing.
Intensive interface with diverse disciplines: physics, optics, algorithms, mechanics, electronics, and software.
Transform customers high-level requirements into concrete technical specifications and design.
Flights to customers around the world (2-3 times per year)

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to lead multi-disciplinary R&D projects encompassing ASIC (Application-Specific Integrated Circuit) design, hardware (HW) development, and software (SW) development.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program managing complex ASIC projects and a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. The role involves close Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ASIC Group, Hardware Group, Software Group, and other stakeholders, to drive innovation and deliver cutting-edge solutions for space applications.
A key part of your role is working closely with customers to understand their needs, translate requirements into actionable plans, and ensure successful delivery of solutions that meet their expectations. You will be the primary point of contact, managing stakeholder communications.
