Senior Physicist
The Physics and Electro-Optics Group is looking for a Senior Physics Engineer reporting to Detector Physics team leader in the physics Department
Role and Responsibilities:
The Physicist will be part of a team dedicated to IR-detector development in the physics group. He will participate to the conception and development of detectors and accompany its development through the different stages of the projects from conception to inception at customer's. The physicist will also support the production line and should provide insights from physics perspective to the different functions of the company during the project development: Process teams, material growth, VLSI, Electronics, Mechanics, Marketing. The physicist should will have a system view of the detector with capability to understand the underlying physics process at material level, VLSI, and system level. The position includes important part of experimental work in laboratory environment, simulations development, data analysis and regular reports to management and project development team. The lead physicist should demonstrate important autonomy and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities:
? Design and model active Silicon Photonics devices; own specs, compact models, and layout intent. ? Drive design for manufacturability: analyze performance across process/voltage/temperature corners and wafer variability; run Monte-Carlo/tolerance studies. ? Build scripted, parametric simulation flows (sweeps/optimization) and extract figures of merit (EO S21, V?·L, responsivity, dark current, bandwidth, IL). ? Plan and execute lab/wafer-level measurements; close the model-to-silicon loop by comparing data to simulations and updating models. ?
