About The Position
The Chip Test Engineer plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing automated test for IC chips and systems for Automotive industry. The Test Engineer is responsible to define and develop tests, design test features, program test scripts, and analyze test results to ensure the quality and functionality of products. The Test Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, improve test processes, and support product development efforts.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and procedures for ATE systems to ensure comprehensive testing of ICs.
Design and develop test features, test programs, and test scripts for automated test environment (ATE) based on product specifications and requirements.
Collaborate with design engineers, product manager, production vendors and manufacturing teams to understand product functionality, performance requirements, and testability considerations.
Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential challenges and develop mitigation strategies for test development and implementation.
Develop test program based on code languages C++ , Java and Python.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with ATE hardware, software, and test scripts to ensure reliable and accurate test results.
Analyze test data and results to identify trends, anomalies, and potential defects, and provide feedback to design and development teams for product improvement.
Develop and maintain documentation for test procedures, specifications, and configurations.
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to evaluate and select ATE equipment, components, and software tools that meet project requirements and performance standards.
Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements in test technologies, and best practices in automated testing to drive continuous improvement in test processes and methodologies.

What Youll Be Doing:
Leading and be the technical focal point to Integration of System optical PHY and CPO electrical subsystems, ensuring its performance.
Hands on cross-disciplinary testing efforts and lab work, collaborating with system architecture, optics, silicon, thermal, mechanical, signal/power integrity, and software teams.
Characterization and testing of optical links using lab equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, BER testers, optical spectrum analyzers and simulation tools).
Driving product scalability, working with internal partnersqualification teams to transition designs from prototype to high-volume production.
Documentation and reporting of design specifications, test results, and performance metrics.

We are seeking a Digital Electrical Design Engineer with extensive experience in board-level digital design, high-speed interfaces, and embedded systems. In this role, youll be a technical lighthouse within our Hardware R&D teamguiding complex, high-speed digital designs from concept through production. What youll be doing:
Testing our company Electro-Optical and Electrical chips and systems.
Link-level performance characterization, verification, and debugging.
Responsibility for complicated setups establishments, covering both optical and electrical components
Characterizing optical and electrical performance using lab equipment and SW tools.
Take an active part in silicon bring-up while managing E2E testing of the newest ASICs, with the objective of driving product to mass production with first-in-class performance.
Characterizing products performance using lab equipment, such as oscilloscope, Spectrum/Network analyzer, Pattern-generator, etc.
Working in front of various test teams, with the responsibility of addressing issues and monitoring the test flows conducted by them.

You will join a team of talented and experienced Signal/Power Integrity (SI/PI) & Electrical Validation engineers with wide scope of responsibility, from Pre-Silicon SI/PI simulations to Post-Silicon Electrical validation and debugging, covering all High-Speed interfaces and Power Delivery of our company EyeQ ASIC products.
What will your job look like:
You will deal with design, simulations, optimization and debugging of high-speed interfaces - like LPDDR4/5, PCIe Gen4/5, C/DPHY, Multi Giga-Bit Ethernet, High-Speed interfaces over Power Cables, Power Delivery Networks.
You will develop Layout guidelines, review the physical design process and check its quality.
You will deal with state-of-the-art signal & power integrity simulation tools and methodologies, advanced results analysis, optimization/verification of our company and customers' PCB designs, etc.
This is a dynamic work environment that requires interfacing with Silicon & Hardware design engineers, IP providers, Electrical and System Validation teams, Customer Application Engineers, EDA tools vendors, and product managers.
The proximity to Electrical Validation activities - we are a single SI/EV team - is another strong advantage, enabling joint simulation-measurements efforts.
