Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing System QA team. Foster a collaborative, quality-focused culture within the team.
System-Level Testing Strategy: Design and execute testing strategies that focus on system and solution-level scenarios, simulating real-world customer use cases and complex environments to identify the hard-to-find issues before they reach production.
Technical Leadership: Be hands-on in testing, reproductions and implementing automated tests in Python. Guide the team in technical areas, enforcing best practices through code reviews and mentorship.
Test Process Development: Develop and implement testing processes, including end-to-end and cross-team feature testing, that ensure high standards for system reliability and scalability.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product, and field teams to ensure testing priorities align with customer and product needs. Facilitate shared knowledge and collaboration across teams.
Automation and Test Coverage: Drive automation efforts for system-level tests, increasing coverage and consistency. Focus on reducing manual testing and improving test efficiency.
Continuous Improvement: Regularly evaluate and refine QA processes, tools, and techniques to adapt to evolving challenges and raise the bar for quality.

Strategy & Vision: Own the company-wide engineering quality strategy. Define, measure, and report on key quality benchmarks and success metrics (KPIs) such as test coverage, Continuous Integration (CI) health, and performance signals.
Tooling & Standards: Research, evaluate, and standardize the tools and best practices for the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC). This includes static code analysis, linters, test coverage, logging, telemetry, instrumentation, and performance tracking.
Drive Adoption & Enablement: Lead the charge in driving the adoption of new standards. You will achieve this through a combination of clear guidance, enablement sessions, and hands-on development alongside product line engineers.
Cultural Leadership & The Quality Guild: Establish and lead the Quality Guild, a cross-company community of engineers passionate about quality. You will identify and mentor these Ambassadors to act as local champions, scale your influence, and create a bottom-up movement of engineering excellence.
Data-Driven Improvement: Continuously report on quality signals to leadership and recommend strategic investments based on measurable gaps and improvement trends.

We are looking for a motivated Automation Manager to join our Cortex Platform QA group in our Tel Aviv R&D center.
The team is responsible for the design and development of E2E test automation framework and tools and implementing automated tests of the our company's Cortex platform and the solutions built on top of it Cortex XDR, Cortex XSIAM, CNA and more.
In this role you will lead, train and motivate our automation team and be responsible for planning, execution and reporting of automated testing. All of this in a fast pace process of development, test and release.

Your Impact

We are looking for a Cryptography Quality Lead.
What Youll Do:
Define and own the quality roadmap. Establish a comprehensive test strategy (unit, integration, statistical, compatibility, and performance) that targets a 99 % confidence level across all cryptographic components and platforms.
Build test automation. Develop and maintain high‑coverage test suites in C/C++ (mainly) and integrate advanced tools such as fuzzing.
Drive continuous improvement. Embed secure‑development‑lifecycle checkpoints, instrument metrics for coverage, flakiness, and regression detection, analyse failures, and prioritise remediation with engineering leads.
Coordinate independent audits. Manage relationships with external cryptography consultants who perform black‑box reviews and certification testing, while maintaining clear hand‑offs without daily code collaboration.
Document and certify. Produce traceable logs, unique test identifiers, and evidence packages to support formal certifications (e.g., FIPS, ISO, IETF RFC).
