As a UI Designer, youll be responsible for transforming product-related tasks into intuitive, user-friendly, and brand-consistent designs for a diverse global audience. This role requires close collaboration with your multidisciplinary team throughout the design process - from crafting creative design assets to building high-fidelity prototypes with clear front-end instructions.

You will be part of the Product Design team, working closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, Analysts, Engineers, and QA teams. Together, you will create innovative, user-centered products that delight our users.

Responsibilities

Ensure alignment with brand identity, design principles, and integrate design systems to maintain consistency across all platforms.
Create creative design assets that enhance the user experience. Use visual design skills and tools to engage iconography, micro-animations, video effects, illustrations, and more.
Define the user-centered interface for new and existing company products and features.
Develop high-fidelity prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas and detailed development instructions.
Assess the usability of new and existing products and provide constructive suggestions for improvement.
Advocate for best practices in localization, accessibility, SEO, scalability, and ease of maintenance.

AKA Foods, a fast-growing SaaS startup at the intersection of food tech and AI, is looking for a talented and driven Product Designer to join as our first in-house UX/UI expert. Reporting directly to the CPO, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our product experience, working closely with developers, customers, and external design partners. This is a unique opportunity to lead design in a high-impact environment and help define the future of our platform.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end UX/UI design process for our SaaS product, from ideation to execution.
* Conduct user research, including interviews, demos, and usability testing with customers and end-users.
* Collaborate closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of design solutions.
* Engage directly with customers to gather feedback and translate insights into actionable product improvements.
* Set up and implement design tools, workflows, and methodologies.
* Work with external design partners as needed, ensuring consistency and quality across all touchpoints.
* Break down complex product features into revenue-generating opportunities and user-centric solutions.
* Contribute to product strategy and ideation, working alongside product leadership to shape the roadmap.
* Establish and maintain a robust design system, evolving our visual language as the product grows.
* Introduce and champion best practices in design thinking, UX research, and agile methodologies.
* Utilize AI-powered design tools to accelerate and enhance the design process.
