This role focuses on the research, design, and implementation of core algorithms for positioning, estimation, and sensor fusion in advanced navigation platforms. Responsibilities: Develop and optimize algorithms for navigation and positioning.
Conduct simulations and performance analysis to validate and refine algorithmic solutions.
Work with real sensor data to TEST and improve algorithm robustness.
Collaborate with software, system, and hardware engineers to integrate algorithms into real-world systems.
Stay current with academic and industry trends in navigation and estimation technologies. Requirements: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience in developing algorithms for navigation, signal processing, or sensor fusion.
Strong background in estimation theory (e.g., Kalman filter, Extended Kalman Filter).
Proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python ; experience with C / C ++ an advantage.
Analytical thinker with a passion for solving complex problems using math and code.
Independent, self-motivated, and a team player. Location: Central Israel
