About the Role
The Vice President of Product Design will lead our product design group, shaping the long-term user experience vision, building world-class teams, and positioning design as a key driver of business growth and competitive advantage. This role owns the end-to-end design experience across all our companys product platforms.
Key deliverables include elevating design as a strategic growth driver, enhancing user satisfaction and engagement, driving adoption through intuitive and innovative design solutions, scaling design systems for consistency and efficiency, mentoring and growing the product design team, optimizing processes, setting UX goals, and championing user needs at the leadership level.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and develop a top-performing product design team that is user-focused and strategically driven.
Foster a culture of creativity, innovation collaboration, and continuous learning within the design organization.
Provide mentorship, career growth opportunities, and professional development for leaders and team members.
Grow the leadership skills within the team, empowering designers and managers to take on strategic and managerial roles.
User Experience and Impact:
Drive initiatives to enhance key experience metrics such as usability, adoption, and engagement.

Advocate for design-led innovation that improves overall product success.
Craft & Execution:
Lead end-to-end design execution, ensuring excellence in visual design, interaction, and usability
Champion a culture of craft, creativity, and innovation, setting a high bar for design quality across all touchpoints.
Integrate user research and behavioral insights into the design process to inform decision-making and drive user-centered solutions.
Promote design systems and scalable frameworks that enable consistency, efficiency, and innovation at scale.
Strategic Vision and Planning:
Define and implement a long-term design vision and scalable roadmap that align with business goals and user needs.
Lead strategic design initiatives, balancing short-term impact with long-term growth.
Performance Metrics and Analysis:
Establish, monitor, and report on key design performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the impact of design on product success.
Use data-driven insights, research, and experimentation to inform design decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
Cross-Functional and Global Collaboration:
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to create seamless and innovative user experiences.
Collaborate with leadership across departments to integrate design thinking into company-wide initiatives.
Provide strategic input on product development, feature prioritization, and customer insights to drive better decision-making.
Requirements: Extensive experience leading and scaling high-impact design teams within SaaS, enterprise, or complex system environments.
8+ years of management experience, including managing managers and building high-performing, globally distributed teams.
Strong portfolio demonstrating success in product design within SaaS or complex digital platforms.
Proven track record in delivering successful B2B or consumer products at scale.
Extensive experience managing and scaling globally distributed design teams, fostering collaboration across multiple regions and time zones.
Deep expertise in UX/UI design, interaction design, and scalable design systems.
Strong proficiency in leveraging user research and data insights to inform design decisions.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with experience driving alignment across executive and cross functional teams.
Strategic and execution-focused, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, drive transformation, and align design with broader business objectives.
