Your mission:
The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with global environmental regulations, managing product environmental compliance programs, supporting sustainability reporting initiatives, and serving as the company focal point for environmental and ESG-related matters with customers, suppliers, auditors, and regulatory stakeholders.
The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Legal, Finance, and external partners to drive compliance, sustainability performance, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Applicants holding an engineering degree will also be considered. Advantage
Auditor qualification or practical experience conducting ISO 14001 audits. Auditor qualification and/or experience conducting ISO 9001 audits is an advantage.
In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards is required. Familiarity with ISO 45001 is an advantage.
5+ years of experience in environmental compliance, sustainability, ESG, product environmental regulations, or a related compliance role. Must
Proven experience serving as the primary focal point for all environmental compliance, ESG, customer sustainability requests, and global product environmental regulatory matters within a multinational organization. Must
Strong knowledge of international environmental regulations and product compliance requirements, including REACH, RoHS, WEEE, Batteries Regulation, Packaging EPR, SCIP, POPs, Conflict Minerals, and related environmental legislation. Must
Experience managing environmental compliance programs for products sold in global markets, particularly Europe, North America, and Asia is an advantage
Hands-on experience with ESG reporting, sustainability questionnaires, customer compliance requests, EcoVadis assessments, CDP reporting, and supply chain sustainability initiatives. an advantage
Familiarity with greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions reporting methodologies and sustainability performance metrics. Must
Experience maintaining and working within an ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, including audits, corrective actions, objectives, and continuous improvement programs. Must
Good English level (both speaking and writing)-Must.
