We are a cutting-edge, multidisciplinary company developing an innovative technology platform. We are seeking an experienced Director of Software and Architecture to lead the software architecture and execution across our complex, multidisciplinary system. This role will report directly to the VP of R D and involve leading a talented team at the intersection of chemistry, physics, robotics, sensors, and advanced algorithms. Key Responsibilities:
Lead Software Architecture: Define, design, and lead the software architecture for a sophisticated, multi-module system, ensuring robustness, scalability, and seamless integration.
backend: Proficiency in C ++, Python, and C (for controllers), with a focus on robotic systems development. frontend: Angular, primarily used for visualization.
Team Leadership Mentorship: Manage, mentor, and guide a team of 17 engineers, including 3 teams
Requirements: - Bsc from a leading university, MSc is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Software Architect or Director of Software in a multidisciplinary tech environment - 7+ years.
- Deep understanding of systems involving robotics, sensors, physical processes, and complex algorithms.
- Strong system -level thinking and the ability to oversee architecture across hardware and software domains.
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.
