Landa is seeking an experienced Backend .NET Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain software powering advanced industrial systems. This role combines backend software development, hardware integration, system design, and production support for complex multidisciplinary products. The ideal candidate is passionate about building reliable, high-quality software, defining system interfaces, and solving challenging real-world problems involving software, PLC-controlled machines, networking, and operations. The role includes ownership of technical specifications, collaboration with third-party hardware vendors, modernization of existing systems, and support of customer-facing production environments.
Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, test, and maintain backend software solutions that integrate with controlled hardware and third-party equipment, enabling the monitoring and control of complex industrial systems. · Own and maintain Interface Control Documents (ICDs), technical specifications, architecture documentation, and interface definitions for complex hardware-software systems, including system behavior, communication protocols, state machines, commands, alarms, and error handling. · Lead system integration activities, troubleshoot complex software-hardware issues, and drive root cause analysis. · Collaborate with external suppliers, system engineers, and multidisciplinary teams to define and implement interfaces. · Maintain existing production systems, investigate customer-reported issues, and deliver corrective actions and long-term improvements.

Requirements: · B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. · 4+ years of backend .Net software development experience. · Strong software design and architecture skills. · Experience designing and implementing complex software systems throughout the full development lifecycle. · Experience defining APIs, communication interfaces, or technical specifications. · Experience integrating software with PLCs, embedded systems, industrial controllers, or manufacturing equipment. · Strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities. Advantages · Experience defining and maintaining Interface Control Documents (ICDs). · Experience with industrial automation, robotics, printing systems, motion-control systems, or safety-critical equipment. · Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC-UA, message queues, TCP/IP, or similar. · Experience developing software in C++, particularly in hardware-integrated, industrial, automation, or machine-control environments. · Experience modernizing legacy applications and systems.
