We are looking for a Flight Tests Manager with experience in flying & testing Airborne Systems in a variety of missions. You will be responsible for the following:
Manage flight tests as a member of the ALPHA flight tests team.
Perform test flights in various disciplines of the company, including Spears system evaluation & validation phase, which includes writing test cases, running tests, and analyzing test results.
Manage the test field and cooperate with Product, R&D, Operations and Marketing. This includes working with customers, field engineers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, test systems, and resolve issues.
Lead the trial process starting from new capabilities tested for the 1st time, to the stage of maturing the system.
Working in a highpaced and vibrant atmosphere, meeting deadlines, and working under pressure in the test fields of the company.
Perform demonstrations (local and abroad), act as the front face for our customers,
Take part in customer training, and evaluation of our system.
This position includes flights abroad for demonstrations.
Requirements: Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):
Proven record of outdoor operation experience, with the ability to work in a test field environment.
Experience in operating drones.
Experience in airborne systems testing/evaluation.
Experience in analyzing flight reports (logs), and failure investigations.
Strong can-do approach and problem-solving capability.
Communication skills in Hebrew and English
Drivers license.
Experience as a Flight Test Manager Advantage
Drone pilots license (CAAI) advantage.
Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies:
You must be presentable and have high human relations and independence.
You must be able to write experimental plans and reports.
Drones technical background, Pixhawk, DJI, etc. an advantage.
