We're looking for a Frontend Engineer to build our Web products. The web is a first-class product surface for us, powering our core AI English learning product, Business dashboards, and user acquisition initiatives. You'll own features end-to-end, from Figma to shipped, performant UI, collaborating closely with design, product, and non-technical stakeholders.
What you'll do:
Build and ship core product features across our core AI English tutor web experience alongside to acquisition funnels, dashboards, SEO and our company site
Turn Figma designs into clean, accurate, responsive UI
Extend and improve our internal component library
Partner directly with designers, PMs, and non-technical stakeholders to shape and refine features
Continuously improve web and mobile-web performance - load time, rendering, bundle size
Own test coverage for the features you build
Make technical tradeoffs independently and drive decisions in your area
Incorporate AI/agentic coding tools into your day-to-day workflow

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable, performant, and maintainable frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and modern web technologies.
Build reusable UI components, shared libraries, and SDKs that support multiple products and integrations.
Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, and Customer-facing teams to deliver intuitive and reliable user experiences.
Own features end-to-end - from technical planning and architecture through implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and reliability across devices and browsers.
Ensure high engineering standards through code reviews, testing, documentation, and observability.
Publish and manage SDK and NPM package versions, including backward compatibility and release management.
Help improve development workflows, tooling, and engineering best practices across the frontend ecosystem.
Contribute to building a strong engineering culture focused on quality, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Design, specify, and develop backend (.NET Core) and frontend (React) components of complex, distributed systems.
Help drive a software architecture that meets high standards of performance, scalability, and information security.
Design and integrate internal and external REST APIs.
Build event-driven architecture, including the system's messaging backbone.
