As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building core backend services and product capabilities, working on scalable systems that handle large volumes of security-related data, and developing robust features that improve security posture in cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering foundations, a product-minded approach, and experience building distributed systems in production.

You will collaborate closely with Product, Research, and Engineering teams to deliver secure, performant, and reliable solutions end-to-end.

You will work within the engineering department, contributing to architecture decisions, improving code quality, scalability, and reliability, while maintaining strong ownership over development and delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-scale backend services and APIs.
Build features that identify and prevent cloud misconfigurations and security risks.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with high engineering standards.
Participate in system design and architecture discussions (scalability, reliability, performance).

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build the core of our AI security platform and AI Control Plane.

You will build systems that help enterprises understand, monitor, and control how AI agents and LLM-based applications operate across their organization. We expect engineers to work in an AI-native way: leveraging and orchestrating AI agents to accelerate design, implementation, testing, debugging, and iteration, while owning the quality of the final result.

This role requires strong ownership, system design judgment, and the ability to turn complex AI-security problems into reliable production systems.

What you will do
Leverage and orchestrate AI agents and LLMs to design, build, test, debug, and ship core platform capabilities.
Build systems for monitoring, governing, and controlling AI agents, LLM applications, tool usage, prompts, context, policies, and runtime behavior.
Turn ambiguous AI-security problems into simple, scalable, production-grade systems.
Own technical decisions from design through production, working closely with Product, Security, and Engineering.

The filesystem group is a high-powered team responsible for implementing algorithms at scales of 100s of PBs. The team also manages the core filesystem components, including blocks and metadata management, snapshots, RAID logic, object-store tiering, unique cloud disaster recovery features, and more. And most importantly, they skillfully handle the most delicate part of the solution - our customers data.

As a Senior Software Engineer, youll:

Design and develop distributed file system components to support data management features such as snapshots, replication, tiering, and advanced data reduction algorithms;
Participate in the design, architecture, and implementation of next-generation storage architecture;
Assist in technically managing initial storage implementations including proofs-of-concept;
Diagnose bottlenecks and implement clean and performant solutions to achieve unbeatable performance;
Design algorithms and data structures to make sure customer data is safe and coherent across our solution in a wide variety of failure modes; and
Constantly revisit the architecture, algorithms, and methodologies to improve productivity, reliability, and maintainability.

We're looking for a System Architect to own the technical foundation end to end.

What you'll do

Own the architecture - a scalable, cloud-native system from whiteboard to production on a greenfield Azure environment you'll stand up yourself (Kubernetes-native, Everything-as-Code, GitOps, CI/CD from day one).
Work directly with our Chief AI Officer to translate complex decisioning methodologies into clean,self-service products a customer can run without a data-science team.
Lead the coding. Set the standards, make the hard calls, and write the core code yourself. You'll guide the engineers shoulder-to-shoulder - leadership by example, not by org chart, without managing them directly.
Stand up a fully agentic SDLC - building the product withAI coding agents end to end, so a small team ships like a large one.
Design the integration layer so the product plugs into each host's native agent and data surfaces - customers adopt it without leaving the tools they already use.

This is not a classic backend engineering role. You will work directly with Product to turn ideas and requirements into production-ready solutions, make the technical decisions, and use AI coding agents as a core part of your engineering workflow.
