Join our IMS Embedded Software team and help develop the real-time software behind one of our production automotive platforms.
Our technology enables commercial vehicle manufacturers to deliver advanced safety capabilities and meet Europe's General Safety Regulation (GSR) requirements. Since the regulation came into effect in 2024, the platform has secured production programs with approximately 60-70 manufacturers worldwide and continues to expand into new global markets.
You'll work on complex embedded systems, collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, and build software that helps make roads safer around the world.
What will your job look like:
Own software features end-to-end, from design through implementation, integration, testing, and maintenance.
Design, develop, and maintain application-level software for complex real-time embedded systems using modern C++.
Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical decision-making.
Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize software for performance, reliability, and scalability.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Algorithms, Cloud, Product Management, Installation Tools, and other Embedded Software teams.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to improving development practices.

* Develop and maintain Embedded software for a cross-platform SDK at the core of our company Embedded products.
* Develop bootloaders, drivers, bare-metal, and RTOS-based firmware for ARM & ARC processors.
* Collaborate across software, hardware, and architecture teams to develop and integrate features, from design through implementation and system -level validation.
* Participate in design reviews/code reviews and develop high-quality code following best practices, including unit tests and automated system tests.
* Define and improve development environments and build flows that enable efficiency and flexibility across all teams.
* Navigate a hardware-oriented environment encompassing chip bring-up, physical device integration, complex troubleshooting, and software-hardware validation.

Required Senior Embedded Engineer
About The Role;
As a Senior Embedded Engineer, you will design and develop embedded systems used by tens of thousands, focusing on performance, reliability, and real-world conditions.
This is a highly hands-on role, working across software and hardware, including testing, debugging, and running experiments in live environments. You will own solutions end-to-end, from architecture to deployment, and collaborate closely with R&D, customers, and partners.
Youll play a key role in bridging development and real-world usage, ensuring our systems perform at scale and in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Embedded Development: Design and build embedded software for real-world, resource-constrained environments, including RTOS-based architectures and IoT modules, working alongside the cloud services that manage and automate our IoT fleet.
Field Deployment: Work hands-on with devices in customer environments, ensuring performance across real-life conditions and varying hardware setups.
Testing & Experimentation: Write tests, lead end-to-end validation from device to IoT core, and run experiments to continuously improve reliability and performance.
Debugging & Integration: Troubleshoot across hardware, firmware, and networking layers, using datasheets and technical specs to implement and optimize functionality.

Navigation & State Estimation

Design and develop robust navigation and state estimation algorithms.
