We're looking for a hands-on team leader to guide a group of Embedded software engineers building the core Linux platform that powers our connected devices. The Embedded control team develop SW products that create the basic building blocks of the our system and deal with various fields - power conversion algorithmic, communication algorithmic, optimizations, rt problems on different platforms - DSPs, Companys ASIC and digital controlled power converters for photo-voltaic power systems. Our technological challenges focus on the following fields: power electronics, digital close loop control and Digital Signal Processing algorithms implemented on companys microprocessors. In this position, you will take part in developing advanced control algorithms and software for our state-of-the-art products.
What you will be doing:
* Learning the different aspects of our products by developing features in various areas and disciplines - power electronics, control theory, DSP and communication over different platform.
* Design, develop, optimizing, TEST and maintain complex and exciting Embedded SW for power electronics and control systems in a multi processors environment.
* Developing on various micro-controllers and dealing with various rt constraints.
* Ownership of a project/product from end to end- from concept and simulation, through development and integration and field deployment.
* Building complex simulations integrating SW and HW and working hand by hand with HW team.

* Design detailed test plans for new features, and review and approve implementation designs proposed by team members for how those features will be tested
* Engage with R&D and Product from the earliest stages of feature development, providing input on testability, edge cases, and quality requirements before implementation begins
* Design and own test strategies for large, cross-cutting features involving multiple services and components working together
* Mentor and grow team members, conducting code reviews and elevating the team's engineering quality
