SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Own the material planning process end to end: translate demand forecasts and production plans into a procurement and material supply plan, based on inventory levels, lead times, reorder points, and safety stock
* Set up the MRP process in Priority ERP, maintain it, and take full control of its ongoing operation and outputs
* Execute purchasing activities, including issuing purchase orders, following up on deliveries, and ensuring on-time supply
* Monitor inventory levels and incoming deliveries, proactively identifying shortages, delays, and supply risks while preventing excess inventory
* Manage ongoing relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, develop a broad supplier base with alternative sources, and maintain competitive pricing, quality, and delivery performance
* Collaborate with R&D during NPI and design transfer activities, including defining purchasing needs for new products and identifying suitable suppliers
