we are looking for a Legal Counsel (Commercial & Privacy).
You'll work closely with product teams and stakeholders across the company on the full breadth of a regulated payment company's legal work. The role spans commercial and vendor ecosystem and privacy across the full data lifecycle, alongside practical, day-to-day counsel to teams throughout the company. You will join structured, well-established workflows, with genuine responsibility from day one.
What You'll Do:
Draft, review, and support the negotiation of commercial agreements, including service and vendor agreements, partnership agreements, data processing agreements (DPAs), and NDAs, protecting interests while enabling business growth.
Take an active role in the vendor lifecycle: onboarding and risk classification of new vendors, and implementation of SLAs and periodic controls.
Support privacy framework: readiness for evolving Israeli and international data protection requirements, privacy review of new products and features, and ongoing governance of the company's data assets.
Provide day-to-day counsel to teams across the company, with an emphasis on compliance and customer service, and support regulatory reporting framework.
Handle the legal aspects of fraud events and third-party matters, including official and regulatory inquiries and formal legal correspondence.
Build and continuously develop the Legal team's knowledge infrastructure: templates, playbooks, and internal policies designed to scale with growth.

Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Product Counsel:

About The Role
The Legal Counsel reports directly to the General Counsel and serves as an in-house attorney to support the companys legal needs. We are seeking a high-calibre Senior Legal Counsel, Employment to join our scaling Legal Department. The role is remote and the role-holder will be based in either UK, France, Spain, Israel or Ireland. In this strategic role, you will counsel business leaders and the HR team on employment matters across 21 EMEA jurisdictions.
