The System & Firmware Diagnostics team is looking for an exceptional embedded software engineer to join our SoC bringup team in Israel.

As a member of the team you will design and implement drivers and software on lower-layers for our UEFI environment, debug complex cross-functional issues and support the manufacturing process of our products. You will have deep and broad view into Apple SoCs and technologies, how we design test and manufacture our products.
You will work closely with hardware, silicon and system teams in Israel and across the globe to accomplish software-hardware integration and participate in bringing up our software on new Apple products from pre-silicon phase to product release.

The IoE group specializes in making our devices smarter and more connected. What You Will Be Doing:
* Develop and design high-quality code following best practices to ensure reliability, maintainability, and scalability.
* Optimize and enhance the performance of existing software components.
* Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration between hardware and software.
* Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
* Participate in the full software development life cycle including concept, design, development, deployment, and support.
* Leverage cutting-edge AI tools and the latest development features to accelerate development, improve code quality, and drive innovation across the team.
* On the Interface team, you'll develop the core infrastructure handling all communication between the device and external systems - cloud, mobile, and other on-site controllers - deployed across millions of devices worldwide.

* Learning the different aspects of our products by developing features in various areas and disciplines - power electronics, control theory, DSP and communication over different platform.
* Develop complex and exciting systems in a multi processors environment.
* Developing on various micro-controllers and dealing with various RT constraints.
* Ownership of a project\product from end to end- from concept and simulation, through development and integration and field deployment.
* Building complex simulations integrating SW and HW.

As an Embedded Software and Prototyping Engineer working on visionOS platforms, you will be responsible for designing, prototyping, and developing real-time software across the visionOS stack.

Responsibilities
Define, design and develop software solutions for our AR/VR technology.
Work cross-functionally with multiple teams, drive requirements, and deliver end-to-end solutions.
Understand the end customer use-cases, and design and develop software solutions tailored to those experiences.
Develop early prototyping software solutions in simulation/emulation environment.
Deliver shipping quality software solutions.
Identify and implement efficient system-level solutions across HW and SW to meet the product's performance goals within the power constraints.
Debug hard to reproduce issues and propose solutions with minimum impact to user experience.

Required Low-Level Developer
As a Low Level Developer, you will:
