A leading defense organization in Netanya is seeking an experienced Full Stack team leader to lead complex, large-scale software development initiatives in mission-critical environments.
This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, combining architecture ownership, AI-driven innovation, and team management. You will guide the development of advanced systems that directly support operational capabilities, while influencing long-term technological direction alongside senior leadership. The Role You will lead a multidisciplinary Full Stack team, driving end-to-end delivery of robust, scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a Full Stack development team, including planning, prioritization, and performance management
Own delivery plans, monitor execution, and ensure high-quality, on-time releases
Oversee system architecture and hands-on development across backend ( JAVA) and frontend ( React) layers
Drive complex integrations across internal and external systems
Work within Linux and Docker-based environments for development and deployment
Promote DevOps best practices, automation, and CI/CD pipelines
Integrate AI technologies to enhance system capabilities, performance, and User Experience
Manage multiple parallel initiatives while maintaining technical and operational excellence
Collaborate closely with senior management and business stakeholders to align technology with strategic objectives
Requirements: B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
5+ years of Full Stack development experience
2+ years in team leadership or technical management
Strong hands-on expertise in JAVA, React, and JavaScript
Experience with Docker, Linux, cloud environments, and CI/CD pipelines
Experience integrating AI-based capabilities - advantage
Proven background in system integrations and cross-functional collaboration
Ability to deliver under pressure without compromising quality
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities
