we are seeking a Payments Operations Specialist to support and optimize our no-touch/self-serve billing stream. In this role, you will ensure smooth customer sign-up, checkout, payment processing, and fraud prevention, while also contributing to cross-company initiatives that shape our billing infrastructure and operational scale.
Youll work closely with Product, R&D, IS, Finance, and RevOps to support daily operations, troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and drive projects that enhance efficiency and accuracy across our Quote-to-Cash ecosystem.
What Youll Do:
Manage and optimize automated billing processes for self-serve sign-up, checkout, subscription activation, and payment processing.
Monitor and support fraud detection workflows to protect revenue and customer experience, handle chargebacks and disputes.
Troubleshoot billing system issues and perform hands-on configurations and QA across platforms (e.g., Zuora, NetSuite, Salesforce).
Identify process improvement opportunities and lead small-to-medium operational projects.
Support cross-company initiatives, including M&A integrations, infrastructure upgrades, and new product/billing flows.
Requirements: 2+ years of experience in Payments or business operations (SaaS experience a plus).
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset.
Experience with ERP/billing systems (NetSuite, Salesforce, Zuora preferred).
Experience with different payment processing systems, including setting up and maintaining fraud prevention mechanisms, improving success rates etc.
Experience with managing multiple gateways serving different company subsidiaries, currencies and taxation.
