We're looking for an Senior DBA to join our DataOps team, part of the DevOps & Infrastructure group. In this role, you will be responsible for the architecture, performance, and stability of our database systems. Youll work closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of database environmentson-premise and in the cloud.

What youll do:
Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable database architectures.
Monitor production systems to ensure performance, availability, and stability.
Develop automation and scripts to streamline day-to-day database operations.
Collaborate with developers and engineers on database design and query optimization.
Troubleshoot complex database issues and identify root causes.
Participate in an on-call rotation, including nights and weekends as needed.
Requirements: =5+ years of hands-on experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or TigerGraph.
Hands-on experience with Linux-based environments (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu).
Experience as a DBA with RDBMS (MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
Hands-on experience with cloud database services (e.g. AWS Aurora, Google BigQuery, MongoDB Atlas, Azure Hyperscale).
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong background in database architecture and schema design.
Proven experience in performance tuning and query optimization using native tools.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Willingness to be part of a 24/7 on-call support rotation.
Advantage:
Exposure to automation/configuration tools like Ansible or Terraform.
Proficiency in scripting for automation (e.g. Python, PowerShell, Bash).
