What youll do Design and ship scalable.NET ( C #) services and applications aligned with our architecture standards. Model domains and build resilient microservices using DDD and modern patterns. Own quality end-to-end: write clean, testable code; add unit/integration tests; debug tricky production issues. Partner across disciplinesSolution Architecture, QA, DevOps, and Productto deliver on time and with impact. Raise the bar for engineering excellence: contribute to coding standards, CI/CD, and CoE best practices. Lead and mentor the Future Ready.NET Core team, ensuring task alignment and priorities within Scrum ceremonies. Collaborate closely with Solution Manager and Product Manager to refine backlog, clarify requirements, and drive sprint success. Build cloud-native, event-driven, and AI-enabled services. Integrate BPM flows and rules engines into enterprise solutions. Leverage AI-powered tools for productivity, code quality, and problem-solving.

Why This Role Matters As the Head of Software Development Center of Excellence Lead, you will lead all software developers, grow their professional skills, support their technical excellence, accelerating innovation, and nurturing top-tier development talent. This role bridges hands-on technical leadership, strategic vision, and organizational enablement - shaping how our Labs engineers design, build, and deliver the systems powering the next generation of insurance platforms, utilizing AI and agentic tooling as the main power source for building software.
