Required Security Analyst - Vulnerability Management - Student Position
The Cyber Defense & Information Security group is responsible for risk management through guidance and assurance of security implementation and cyber defense across our enterprise and production IT systems, cloud environments and secure development.
What will your job look like:
You will ensure the safety of digital assets and the protection of systems from intentional or inadvertent access
You shall operate various Vulnerability Assessment platforms
Conduct analysis and processing of findings and ensure they are prioritized correctly
Create and distribute vulnerability\security gaps advisories to various systems owners and operators
Investigate incidents to determine impact, scope, and severity.
Assist in refining detection rules, reports, and dashboards.
Develop and maintain scripts (Python, PowerShell, Bash) to support monitoring and analysis.
Manage and track remediation efforts while producing reporting and clear performance indicators.
Requirements: An active student (BA / BS.c) with at least 4 semesters to graduate
Ability to work on a part-time 50% position in Jerusalem
IT background - acquaintance with the application, network, and operating system security - a must
Hands-on experience in scripting/programming and automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with awareness of IT and AI applications in cybersecurity.
Understanding of vulnerability Assessment and patch Management
Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (CrowdStrike) - an advantage.
