High-Level Embedded Applications Developer Location: Rehovot Area Job Description: A leading and stable defense corporation in the Rehovot area is seeking a High-Level Applications Developer for Embedded Real-Time systems, joining an airborne software team.

We are looking for a DevOps Team Leader, Infrastructure engineering team, located in our Rehovot office. This is team Infrastructure Engineers, who closely align to DevOps principals. Your responsibility will be to drive innovation, scale our platforms, and create operational excellence for the globally distributed network. The person taking this role will have significant scope to influence decisions that will have a significant impact on infrastructure and how we serve our customers.
As an Leader in the ICO organization, you will improve your team's approach to solving problems, supporting and optimizing the infrastructure programmatically. You will work with your team to improve the overall availability, reliability, performance, and security of the infrastructure under your management. This is very much a part of the team role. You will be expected to be working in as part of your team, working with then collaboratively on projects and systems. You will need to develop a deep technical understanding of our systems and help grow and mentor your team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage, a team of diverse engineers in multiple, global, locations.
Work collaboratively with your team to plan their work and ensure that everyone knows what they should be working on.
Work with teams across and the wider Thales Business Unit to ensure we are providing services and tools that they need.
Work with the PMO to plan and execute projects.
Apply SRE & DevOps principles to eliminate toil, and improve reliability.
Work cross functionally as needed to troubleshoot and resolve business affecting issues.
Respond to escalations, help with incident response, RCAs, provide management of and follow up from postmortems.
Establish metrics for data-driven decisions to help increase availability, reliability, and velocity.

We are looking for a strong technology leader to manage a team of SW embedded engineers in the development of Linux device drivers, firmware, and applications to successful delivery of high-quality software projects in the field of Satellite communication.
Job Description:

Provide technical guidance, support team members, conduct code reviews and coordinate with other teams.
Set clear goals and expectations for the team members and set priorities aligned to project objectives.

Maintain an active involvement in hand-on coding, debugging, and troubleshooting.

We are looking for a Senior System Validation Engineer.
Responsibilities:
System validation activity including Phy, HW and SW validation.
Study system architecture and system requirements and take part in a test plan to address these requirements in collaboration with system engineering and other teams.
Define and write automatic test plans and test procedures for new systems and features.
Build test setups for fully automated regression as well as for manual tests.
Take active part, hands-on in team execution: integration and feature/product enabling, bring up and debug activities, regression automation test of satellite systems.
Record, investigate and analyze defects.
Investigation of root cause of test case failures and providing corrective action in conjunction with development teams.
Support Test Management tools and continuous integration methodologies.
Data analysis and post processing of data collected.
Compilation of regular Test execution summary report with metrics.
