What will your job look like?
Construct and drive the architectural platform solutions of the amAIz GenAI platform.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in AI and GenAI to ensure the platform remains at the cutting edge.
Collaborate with Product Management to align the architecture with business requirements and strategic objectives.
Partner with the development organization to ensure seamless execution of architectural solutions and alignment on implementation plans.
Develop and maintain a robust, scalable, secure, protected, and high-performance suite of SaaS services.
Ensure the architecture adheres to best practices for continuous integration and delivery.
Oversee the selection and integration of new technologies and frameworks.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team of engineers.
Conduct regular architectural reviews to ensure compliance with best practices and standards.
Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring the architecture can adapt to evolving requirements.

We are building a company-wide enterprise data agent that allows employees to interact with internal knowledge and systems, such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, Salesforce, Sharepoint and Outlook, through natural language. This assistant will drive fast, accurate access to information and automate routine tasks through tool-augmented LLMs.

We're hiring a senior hands-on AI/ML Engineer to build the core agent stack, from retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines to multi-tool orchestration and secure, real-time API integrations. This role offers end-to-end ownership and the chance to shape foundational infrastructure at scale.

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement LLM-driven agents capable of multi-step reasoning, contextual memory, and tool use across enterprise APIs.
Build and optimize RAG pipelines, including chunking strategies, semantic retrieval, dynamic prompt construction, and real-time context assembly.
Integrate with organizational platforms (e.g., Slack, Outlook, Jira, Salesforce, Confluence) to provide actionable, personalized, and secure responses. Apply the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to declaratively connect LLMs with tools, memory, and execution components.
Incorporate Agent-to-Agent (A2A) protocols to support multi-agent delegation, communication, and coordination where relevant.
Design with enterprise-grade security in mind, including user authentication, data scoping, redaction, and API-level access controls.
Collaborate closely with AI product and backend engineering peers to ensure performance, reliability, and usability.

This senior role offers opportunities to architect and drive critical components of our AI platform, with a focus on automating and optimizing the integration and deployment of software, ensuring high quality and fast delivery. You will shape the technical direction that powers our enterprise AI products like RHEL AI and OpenShift AI, while mentoring team members and establishing best practices.
What you will do:
Design, implement, and maintain the product delivery pipeline by automating build, test, and deployment processes to enhance efficiency and reliability
Monitor CI/CD processes and performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements
Work closely with Product Management and other engineering teams to ensure smooth deployment cycles and coordinate releases
Integrate automated testing into the delivery pipeline, ensuring code quality and reducing manual testing efforts
Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for CI/CD processes, guidelines, and best practices
Implement security best practices in the CI/CD pipelines, ensuring compliance with industry standards
Diagnose and resolve issues in the CI/CD pipelines and assist with deployment failures
Coach and mentor junior members of the team
Participate in upstream AI/ML communities with a focus on learning more about the various technologies and how they might be used within our offerings.
