We are looking for a hands-on and strategic Team Leader to head our Data Science & Machine Learning team. This is a high-impact leadership role where youll guide a growing team of Data Scientists and ML Engineers tackling some of the most complex and unique challenges in retail analytics from recommendation engines and time series forecasting to signal processing, clustering, and beyond.

You'll be responsible for shaping the teams roadmap, championing innovation, and translating business challenges into scalable, production-grade ML solutions, powered by our company rich and continuous IoT data streams.

Responsibilities
Lead & Inspire: Manage and mentor a talented team of Data Scientists and ML Engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and technical excellence.
Drive ML Strategy: Define and own the teams roadmap, aligning it with company goals and product direction.
Deliver Impact: Guide the team through the full ML lifecycle from business understanding and data exploration to model development, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
Establish Best Practices: Implement and advocate for high standards in experimentation, model management, reproducibility, and delivery.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Data Engineering, Product, and Business stakeholders to define priorities, understand requirements, and deliver actionable, measurable outcomes.
Research & Innovate: Stay on top of the latest advancements in ML and apply state-of-the-art techniques to drive product innovation and value.
Translate Complexity: Communicate sophisticated ML concepts clearly to a wide range of audiences from executives to engineers to customers.

As the Vice President of Data, you will define and drive the companys data vision, leading the strategy and execution across Data Product, Data Science, and Data Analytics. This is a critical leadership role that will
shape how we use data to generate insights, power our SaaS platform, and drive business value across the organization. Youll report to senior leadership and play a key role in shaping our product, operations, and
go-to-market teams through data.
Key Responsibilities
Define and champion a unified data vision aligned with business goals.
Serve as a strategic leader and key voice in company-wide decision-making through data.
Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance.
Lead three key functions: Data Product Develop analytics tools, embedded dashboards, and usage insights, Data Science Drive predictive modeling, experimentation, and AI/ML features. and Data Analytics Deliver scalable reporting and actionable intelligence across departments.
Guide team leads, define org structure, and support ongoing hiring and mentoring efforts.
Build and promote a data-driven, high-impact culture.
Foster transparency, curiosity, and continuous improvement across the team.
Lead post-mortems, quality audits, and key roadmap reviews.
Set and track key metrics: business impact, delivery velocity, system stability, and data integrity.
