As a QA Engineer you will:
Perform hands-on testing of new features (manual validation, exploratory testing, regression testing) to ensure they meet our quality standards.
Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests using Playwright testing frameworks.
Use AI tools to improve QA workflows
Write comprehensive QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, test results, and bug reports.
Work cross-functionally with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Identify, document, reproduce, and track bugs - and validate fixes.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA methodologies, including AI-assisted testing processes.

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing detailed test plans for our software and systems. You will collaborate closely with developers to identify and prioritize defects, ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy up to software release.
You will work on our automation suite, by maintaining and adding new test cases, using Java Selenium.
This position reports to the Head of QA in Canada and is expected to work hybrid model in our office.

Responsibilities

Design and execute test plans for individual pieces of our software and systems.

Work closely with developers in an Agile software development environment.

Raise and triage defects, and participate in defect management activities.

Ensure high quality and accuracy are maintained through to software release.

Comparing test findings and results to business requirements, methods and procedures.

Maintain and expand the automation tests suite

As Senior Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for integrating a complex line of products consisting of mechanics, electronics, and software/firmware. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional R&D teams to validate development changes and ensure integration integrity across the system.

Your role will also involve:

Developing and maintaining automation tests and infrastructure for both back-end and front-end features to ensure reliability and efficiency
Creating and executing comprehensive test plans, test suites, and test scripts to validate functionality, performance, and integration
Conducting root cause analysis and troubleshooting integration issues, clearly communicating findings to relevant teams
Executing system-level tests on physical hardware, focusing on calibration validation, functionality, and performance
Providing detailed reports and actionable insights on test results, defects, and system performance to stakeholders
Creating and maintaining relevant documentation, test protocols, and technical guidelines
Interfacing with R&D teams, QA, and product teams

As part of our Automation team, you will play a key role in building and evolving a robust automation infrastructure that supports complex, scalable products.

You will help shape automation architecture, tooling, and best practices, work closely with R&D teams in an Agile environment, and directly influence the quality, reliability, and scalability of our platform.

This role combines hands-on automation development with system-level thinking.

In this role you will:
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test infrastructure
Write and maintain high-quality automated tests (API, integration, and UI)
Educate and collaborate with R&D teams on testing strategies, quality practices, and automation approaches
Shape automation architecture, design patterns, and development paradigms
Work closely with R&D teams daily in an Agile environment
Contribute to scalability, reliability, and quality improvements across the platform
Take ownership of automation solutions, from concept to production usage
