In this role, you will:

As a Senior engineer you will implement and maintain components of the simulator based on architecture specifications.

Collaborate with the ASIC Architecture, Software, and Hardware teams to understand requirements and support their use of the simulator as a reference for development.

Participate in troubleshooting, testing, and validating simulator functionalities.

Learn and apply industry best practices in model development and integration.

Responsibilities
Help us figure out a strong roadmap to make Cloud Storage the best for AI/ML workloads.
Lead a team of Engineers to design, develop, and deploy new storage enhancements. Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews.
Architect and design scalable, reliable, and performant systems that meet the needs of the growing AI/ML customer base. Make data-driven decisions to optimize system performance and efficiency.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues, analyze performance bottlenecks, and develop innovative solutions to address customer challenges.
Work closely with product managers, customer engineers, and other stakeholders to understand customer requirements and ensure that Cloud Storage meets their needs.

In this role, you will work with system teams and the CPU Architecture team to develop an understanding of the CPU, SoC, performance metrics, benchmarks/measuring tools, and available optimization knobs. You will define methods and technologies to model CPU performance at different accuracy levels by supporting architectural explorations and decision-making. In addition, you will correlate performance projections with measured post-silicon data.
