We are looking for an experienced hardware-oriented technical writer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating clear, structured, and visually rich technical documentation for hardware products. This includes working closely with hardware teams and subject matter experts to gather and validate technical information. You will produce documentation in traditional formats (PDF, end-to-end documents), aligned with customer requirements and company standards.
Responsibilites
Create and maintain technical documentation for hardware products, including 3D models, installation and deployment procedures, and maintenance guides.
Document part replacement processes and related software procedures.
Work closely with hardware teams and subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and validate technical information.
Produce clear, structured, and visually accurate documentation aligned with company standards.
Develop diagrams and flowcharts to support technical content (e.g., using Visio).
Prepare documentation in traditional formats (PDF, end-to-end documents).
Ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to style guides.
Participate in collaboration, reviews, and continuous improvement of documentation processes.
Requirements: Excellent native-level command of both English and Hebrew (written and spoken). Any additional language is a plus.
At least 7 years of relevant experience, with relevant work samples.
Experience working with hardware support teams, or with support teams in general.
High ability to write accurately, clearly, and visually. Experience with presentations and training collaterals is a plus.
Excellent original writing communication skills
Natural sense of logical structure and outlining.
Experience in creating flowcharts and diagrams in MS Visio.
Experience in using styles, sections, fields, and other functions in MS Word.
Good sense of consistency in writing, and ability to adhere to the company style guide.
Good eye for small details, such as typos, hardware specifications, and torque values.
Personal ability to communicate well with different types of people and proactively/creatively obtain information or cooperation.
Openness to SME feedback, opinions, and sometimes criticism in a dynamic technical environment, with the ability to adapt and accommodate professionally and in good spirits.
Time management and multitasking skills.
Willingness to commute and work on site.
Willingness to pass a test.
Israeli citizenship for passing a security clearance check.
