We're looking for a Product Designer Lead to become our first in-house product designer and help build our new consumer platform from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to design a zero-to-one product that already has a massive, loyal audience waiting to use it. This role combines bold product vision with hands-on execution, turning ideas into experiences that are intuitive, elegant, and distinctly Mami. You'll focus on building the product's design systems, language, and touchpoints, with opportunities to shape how the brand and experience evolve across platforms.

What You'll Do
* Own end-to-end product design across web and mobile.
* Define Mami’s UX foundations, workflows, and design system.
* Play a key role in strategic decision-making, bringing strong expertise, clear reasoning, and a decisive product-design perspective to the table.
* Create intuitive, delightful B2C experiences around community, personalization, and creator commerce.
* Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Growth.
* Conduct discovery, test concepts, and iterate fast.
* Help shape the design discipline as the company scales.

We are seeking a Director of Product Design to define and drive the end-to-end product design vision across our platform. Youll lead a team of talented designers, own the design strategy, and collaborate closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams. Youll be responsible for building a strong design culture, scalable systems, and delivering beautiful, functional, and business-aligned user experiences.
Responsibilities:
Define and evolve the company-wide design vision and strategy aligned with product and business goals
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing product design team
Scale a comprehensive Design System to ensure consistency across all products
Lead all UX and product design processes, including user research, journey mapping, wireframes, prototyping, user testing, and validation
Collaborate closely with PMs, engineers, data, and stakeholders to align user needs with business impact
Set and track design KPIs (usability, adoption, NPS, etc.) to measure design quality and influence
Advocate for user-centered design and embed a strong design culture across teams
Present and communicate design strategy to executive stakeholders and influence company priorities
Work cross-functionally with marketing and brand teams to ensure visual alignment
Help us become a design-driven company that builds delightful, effective products for our users.
